Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland which serves to synchronize and coordinate biological functions of the body. This hormone appears in foods in only trace amounts and, therefore, supplementation supports the natural functioning of the pineal gland. Melatonin is important in regulating sleep, circadian rhythm and the body’s natural time clock. Melatonin is also an important antioxidant, rapidly taken up by the brain, which acts as an effective scavenger of highly toxic free radicals, which induce DNA damage. The amount of melatonin produced by our bodies seems to decrease with age.

Do not take this product if you suffer from an autoimmune disease, depression, diabetes, endocrine disorder or thyroid condition. Do not use this product while operating a motorized vehicle or heavy machinery.

Product Contains: Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl) 10 mg; Melatonin 3 mg.

Other Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, crosscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, magnesium stearate.

This product does not contain: added sugar, salt, dairy, yeast, wheat, corn, soy, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.

Dosage
Serving Size: 1 tablet

Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, adults take one (1) tablet twenty (20) minutes before bedtime or, as directed by a health care practitioner.

If you are pregnant, nursing, diabetic, on medication, have any medical condition, or beginning a weight control program, consult your physician before using this product or any other dietary supplement. Discontinue use if allergic reaction occurs. Also, keep out of reach of children.
